Born in 1991, in Bogotá, Rossana Montoya studied Anthropology at the University of Brasilia (Brazil) before moving to France to study theater at the International School of Corporeal Mime Drama in Paris. In 2022 she directed and starred in the short film ARENA which has been screened at various film festivals around the world such as the London SFF, Bogoshorts, NY Colombian Film Festival, and Porto Femme. In 2022, she won a short film production grant from the FDC in Colombia with her second short film MI DEMONIO.
Nacida en Bogotá en 1991, Rossana Montoya estudió Antropología en la Universidad de Brasilia para luego irse a Francia a estudiar teatro en La Escuela Internacional de Mimo Corporal Dramático de París. Dirigió y protagonizó el cortometraje “Arena” (2022), el cual ha sido proyectado en diversos festivales de cine alrededor del mundo tales como: London SFF, Bogoshorts, NY Colombian Film Festival, Porto Femme. En 2022 ganó el estímulo de producción de cortometraje del FDC en Colombia con su segundo cortometraje “Mi Demonio”.
